For mankind, consuming food is a necessity. No food, no life. For me, painting food is a consuming passion. No food, no life’s work.

There is nothing more elemental in everyday life than food. Everyone – from the smallest child to super active teen to the harried businessperson to the disabled elder – spends some part of each day thinking about food. My art aspires to give those people the pleasure without the calories; the sublime taste without the hassles of preparation and the exquisite textures without the schlep to the market.
